Huawei P8 Review

This year Huawei launched the Huawei P8 which is subsequent model of last year’s P7; it reaches up to the expectations and list of features which were rumored since last few months.  This new Huawei flagship phone comes with lot of exciting features; the company introduced P8 Max which is a phablet variant of the device.

Metal body design

Since the beginning Huawei has been copying the designs of iPhone and Sony Xperia smartphones, the P series by Huawei has always been attractive eye catching. The last year’s model P7 was designed quite similar to the iPhone 5 with trimmed edges on both sides of the phone. The size of last year’s smartphone was about 5.2 inch and this year this is increased to 6.8 inch with screen resolution of 1080P. Thickness is less than this year’s top models like Samsung Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6, rear camera is placed wonderfully at the back without making any bulge on the body.

Camera

Huawei had paid attention to their camera this time; they have used a four color sensor which produces sharper and clear images even in the dark. The device is backed by 13MP rear camera which can capture images up to level of a DSLR; this is because of natural color, improved exposure, and white balance.  The stabilization features acts more precisely; the phone has lot of modes in camera. Front camera is powered by 5MP sensor.

Interface

Huawei has introduced many changes and customizations to Android 5.0; the lollipop version is out now for various devices. You can change the theme of our device whenever you feel like changing it, a new feature has been introduced which lets you find your phone by saying “Where are you?” and your phone will answer I’m here and play music until you find it.

Battery and processor

Huawei have used the Kirin 930 and 935 processors for P8 and P8 Max respectively, the best advantage of using these processors is that they are efficient in performing. The phone consumes less processor when working on minor tasks, the larger portion of processor is used by the giant tasks. This technology has increased the processor efficiency by 20% and phone performs faster. The phone is powered by 2,600mAh battery which works perfect in combination with the power saving mode.

The phone is available in 16, and 64GB memories, the pricing for three variants are $530, and $630.
